Parameters for specifying delay between the notes and strum direction up, down or alternating.

Could the arp pattern generator handle strums if it got a few more options?

Think if you could realize the ideas I have described in the other post about arp generator:
that would help a lot and will at least give the ground for some basic strummingFor example: you have these 8 bars progression, you choose "1 bar" as setting, then the pattern will be repeated 8 times, pattern=bar. If you choose "2 bars" as setting it will be repeated 2 times, so as you described it will be "stretched" on 2 bars. This way it could be very flexible and easy to handle like normal arp

I wonder if a strum plug-in might allow more options. Perhaps settings could be automated.
Apart from the parameters mentioned already, the potential for slow strums would be handy. In a slow strum, some notes might be fading before the strum is complete.

Just set a long strum delay and a short decay on the synth.
