1. Single window only - no dual monitors?
I saw in one video where a plugin (I think it was) was dragged away over to the right and out of sight.
Would it not slide over to a second monitor or window then?

2. Is there a mixer? I get the whole 'left side in, edit it all in the middle and process and mix it out the right side' concept, but is there an actual mixer as well that can be viewed and/or toggled in it's own window?

3. I can't quite recall what I read now, but is there a problem or some kind of limitation regarding VSTs, and their use and/or availability?

4. Can you toggle windows open & closed like in Cubase's 'Workspaces', or does that not apply since it's only a single window?

Thanks Buds

Not sure if you can drag plugins to 2nd monitor, you'd have to try it. There is no mixer in T7 only in Waveform and the mixer can be put on a 2nd monitor. There are no limitations with vst's and all side panels and bottom control panel can be toggled.

There's a list of differences at the bottom of this page https://www.tracktion.com/products/waveform

T7 doesn't include melodyne or collective.

Vst plugins can be moved to a second monitor. Also can be locked to stay on screen, if required/ desired.
Try T5 which is free, basically works the same as T7. If you like it and want to invest, I would suggest Waveform, which has a mixer if you want one.
Waveform operates much the same as T5/T7 but has more enhancements, better midi tools the mixer etc.

1. Dual is allowed.
2. A more traditional mixer was introduced after T7 (in Waveform).
3. The 32-bit version can only handle 32-bit plug-ins, and the 64-bit version can only handle 64-bit versions. However, many have worked round this by using JBridge, but do search the forum for threads where this has been discussed.
4. I don't know about Cubases's Workspaces.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.
