while I've owned it for a while, I really have not dived into it until this past week...
and I am beginning to get around on it... like anything else: it does some things amazingly well and others, well... 'not as expected' might be the most correct way to put it.
While Stutter Edit is easy to edit- it's got its own learning curve (I have not EVEN peeked into the generator section yet

)

what I am after here is just gauging interest in a set of sounds/effects along the lines of this demo.
(apologies for the levels...that IS something that I'm learning to address in Stutter Edit ;]...and they will be right by the time any set is actually for sale!)

Just wanted to circle back on Stutter Edit because I really believe this sucker is seriously underrated.
...and while the demo I am posting is massive OVERKILL of the effect, it serves as a proof of concept that a Stutter Edit preset with 12 gestures being performed in realtime onto a very simple 2 bar Boom Bap loop can yield some really interesting and complex rhythmic catastrophies

(...these are taking a good bit longer to finish up than I expected. Stutter Edit is easy enough to understand, but very tricky to "get right" ;] )

more... just the drums are StutterEdified...
created the drums from a 2 bar loop run thru iZotope's Stutter Edit using 18 gestures (one preset)

Lazysnake (electric piano run thru a number of delay fx and modulators) and Strobe2 lead line to help fill out the 4 mins of abuse.

I just wanted to thank everyone who picked up Pickled Beats! Your support is very much appreciated.
I hope you are enjoying it as much as I did while I was putting it together.
A very eye-opening experience. Stutter Edit IS an amazing tool!!!

In case you had not seen it, I put together a little batch of presets for Audio Damage's Ronin
I've owned Ronin for years and while I have LONG been on the search for the most (fill in the blank) delay, I seem to have overlooked the capabilities and face-melting power that Ronin has. It is NOT the most intuitive plug-in, but its well worth taking the time to sit down with it, figure out the signal paths and how they interplay ...and with that knowledge, you can begin to bend time in all sorts of fun ways...and isn't that what it's all about? ;]
so ...it you do own Ronin, please dl these and give'm a spin.

The NEXT "for sale" set I intend to release might be a little surprising considering my non-mainstream path heretofore...in the next days, I may post some audio. I'm nearly halfway thru the set. And although this synth is WELL known, I think there are some sounds yet to be discovered as well as some others to be re-realized thru the blortblort lens ;P
