HELP: Zebra PDF User Guide not loading (SOLVED)

I downloaded the Zebra demo, tried to open the PDF User Guide and it won't load fully. The first few pages will load, with parts near the end of those pages all blurry, and the rest of the pages blank.
This is on Mac OS latest version, 10.12.4, and it's the only PDF I have that does this.
I downloaded the one direct from the website, same thing.
I can figure out some stuff in Zebra, but I'd like to have a manual to check out!

Same thing with the Diva manual: downloaded from the site, won't load fully just like the Zebra PDF.
However, the PDFs load fine in Firefox web browser.
Bleh, not sure what the deal is. I guess I can just use Firefox.
Not sure why they won't open in Mac's Preview app.

Maybe Apple's latest version of Preview doesn't like our manuals because they were written in Apple Pages '09 instead of the more recent kiddy-version
. I'll ask the guys what we can do about it without losing the bottom-of-page navigation feature. For now your best bet is probably the free/classic Adobe Reader.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure when this latest version of the Preview app was released, but it's on version 9.0 and sounds like it needs some bugs ironed out.
Edit: 9.0 came out August 2016 according to Wikipedia. I think I will try Adobe's reader.

This online converter did the trick:
https://online2pdf.com/
I used the high image quality (100%) and 600 dpi and it only took a few seconds, and it even retained the links in the PDF.

Just tried it with the Bazille manual, and indeed, it doesn't load properly!Howard wrote:Interesting! Can anyone confirm? (I don't use Sierra yet).
Hive did it too. ACE and Satin loaded fine. But all of them had issues with the thumbnails.
Weird thing is, when using the preview from the finder (hitting space to quick look) they work fine.

Yep, this happens in the latest Sierra version 10.12.4 with the user manuals for Bazille (incl. Beatzille + BazilleCM), Diva, Hive and Zebra. All other manuals are still displaying their content. But these four are broken right now.
Apple did mess around with pdf a lot in Sierra, and they 'fixed' some issues in the 10.12.4 update. But apparently, those 'fixes' are now making it impossible for some of our manuals to be shown correctly.

Yes, I can confirm. Someone reported this to our support when I was still on OSX 10.12.3. I checked on 10.12.3 and everything was fine, then I updated to 10.12.4 and nothing past page 3 or so was visible anymore. Funny, seeing that Apple claim they fixed PDF rendering in that update...

Sorry, I actually meant "can anyone confirm that the online converter at https://online2pdf.com/ fixes the problem?"Howard wrote:Interesting! Can anyone confirm? (I don't use Sierra yet).

I think I have an easy solution (at least this works on my Macbook with freshly installed Sierra 10.12.4):
Load the PDF file into the latest version of Acrobat Reader, then SAVE...
Please confirm or otherwise!
