Hey guys,

i (hopefully) found a way to do something like basic pitch-quantation in mux/mulab.
Its not perfect and it needs some improvements. Perhaps someone could help with that. After finetuning it we could upload it to mulib.

Firstofall i need a dry vocal-snipped to share it within the project. Does someone has a dry volcal-sample (male/female) which is 100% free for testing proposes? thanks alot!

Why not try with a simple sine wave first?
With the new FFT you can easily verify what you are doing.

thanks andreas :-)
you are right.
i will upload the unfinished patch to this topic as soon as possible.
cheers

If that really works, we would have such a kind simple real time pitchcorrection. I think this is totally exciting. if not then it was a nice try ;-)

OK,
i did it myself. you'll find a wonderful singing "urvieh" at this project.

So what does it basically do:
First of all i tried to build a basic pitchfollower. That was really complicated. To do it in mux. I decided to build a tool which should jump to the nearest semitone if there comes something between two semintones.
You can also define a center-frequency for this whole setup.
then i have simply automated the pitchshifter-prefab.
Its more the beginning or a simple drawing of what it should do at the end ;-)
