I have scoured the pdf manual, I have clicked every button, every track, every area, viewed all drop down menus, have gone through each settings tab, etc. - But nowhere, other than a vague reference in the manual, does it explain how to get to this apparently hidden magical setting. Yes, I have direct monitoring software which works fine but I need to monitor a plugin live through this DAW. It's extremely simple on most other DAWS.... How do I do it in Waveform? Or is it not possible in Waveform??
Thanks

Select the input and then tick the "Live Input Monitoring" button there:
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

It's documented on pages 22 and 23 of the quick start guide. They put the button that lets you monitor the signal coming from the input, in the properties of the input device.

In general, if you click on something, its properties and some useful things you can do to it appear in the properties panel, which is the lower middle of the screen, unless you've hidden it.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.
