So the comment about keeping it under wraps, seems like a way to make it look like a more exclusive deal than it is.

Yeah, the Samplephonics guys pulled the same stunt by allegedly sending out an [internal use only] email to their email subscribers before launching their subscription service.

Some of these loop purveyors are like used car salesmen.

I find the Noiiz subscription service more attractive than Loop Locker. So far, for 89$, there is at least 300 sample packs available from Samplephonics, with new additions regularly. For Loop Locker, at 99$ you get 24 packs for the whole year and some other stuff.

I got all the effects, except Valve Exciter. They are all rather excellent IMO.

But note that both the Valve Filter and Speaker has been handed out for free in the past.

Of the synths I got miniBit, which is very cool 8bit like synth, with lots of depth.

Of the Kontakt libs I got GAK150, which is a comptent sample lib.
