Organizing VST presets

I've come to really like how the MuTools Factory Presets are organized (e.g. Bass, Bells, etc.) regardless of whether the underlying device is MuSynth or something else. Is it possible to organize VST presets in a similar way? There are some presets in Reaktor I'd like to keep handy. Right now, I must select the Reaktor VST, load the ensemble (like a MUX patch), and then load the preset. After that whole process, the preset's name is visible in the rack. Is there a way to directly save this preset to an appropriate category (e.g. Bass, Bells, etc.)?

Thank you,

After clicking the 'Save VST File As' icon, I can name the file and then save .fxp preset files for VST synths such as Alchemy and OBXD in a MuLab folder; I can then drag and drop that .fxp into the VST 'Program Name' window in the header bar to load it in the synth. This works for synths with .fxp files, but I don't have Reaktor so don't know if MuLab would save its ensemble format. (Be sure to create a User folder structure like the App structure, and save presets only in the User folder)

Thanks Michael. I'll try your approach.

So, I was able to save the .fxp file. But, I could not drag this directly onto MuLab to create a new track or place it into a rack. I needed to create a new VST track, select Reaktor, and then drag the .fxp file into the program select field. I was hoping to be able to find a way to quickly open presets without having to think which VST they are associated with. I'll post here if I find a way.

I see.
Option B: Name each Reaktor instance with its preset, and Save it as a Rack. In the Browser, just click User> Rack Presets, drag the preset into the rack area, et voila! Reaktor should open with that preset (it does with Alchemy.)
Option C: create a Favourites preset folder/bank within each synth.

I just reread your reply and finally understand. I'll try that!
