In what way? Can you be more specific?Aloysius wrote:For me, it's like a bad copy of a Waves Plugin. Glad I tried the DEMO.
Overloud Tapedesk

It looks a bit like say Kramer Tape but the ''sound'' didn't do anything for me. It seemed to me to be more like a cheap immitation, like the difference between a real Rolex and a Fake one.
All imho. Maybe you will like it, I don't.

I think that Kramer Tape is in same-same quality range. Tapedesk at least got an crosstalk emulation, whichAloysius wrote:It seemed to me to be more like a cheap immitation, like the difference between a real Rolex and a Fake one.
NONE of Waves products have, not even NLS range. Which is kinda ridiculous considering they offer 50Hz or 60Hz noise option

I already have Klanghelm SDRR (Each mode has its unique crosstalk behavior, which can be switched off or exaggerated.), Sonimus (Britson and Satson) and the Free Sleepy-Time DSP Crosstalk for ... crosstalk. Probably others I've forgotten about as well. I don't really need the Overloud one.

Been using this for a while on mainout and really liking it.
I open an auto-gain plug-in, surf presets then adjust input levels looking at meter (usually they're too hot). It glues nicely and based on tape-speed and/or preamp get to decide if I want to smooth the edges or not. Very simple and fast to work with.
Also another underrated plug-in, their Api eq has way more mojo than waves alternative.
