I'll grab that blackhole but I'm definitely thinking about getting the h-reverb too. I should just demo but I always heard good things and its deeply discounted. H-Eq too. Ugh I think I got gas. Anyone use h-reverb?
BTW I got the Miroslav Philharmonik 2 CE and I have to say it comes with some of the best piano I've ever heard in a plugin. Wow.

I have pretty much everything Waves except the Abbey Road stuff. I've tried the H-verb. For me, it is okay. I always find myself using something else most of the time. And a lot of times I end up with the Chris Lord Alge products which include reverb. Or lately, Stereo Room 2016.
But then, I did a whole song just using Blackhole, so I may not be the best one to take advice from LOL!
Edit: Okay, pulled out the H-Reverb and tried some presets. It is actually pretty nice. I really like the Water preset on my EZ Drummer. Made the kick drum sound great. Most of the others the kick just kind of disappeared.

May seem strange for a verb slut, but I'm holding off on this H-Series bundle (and the H-Reverb). With Pro-R, Adaptiverb, Blackhole, R2, SR 2016, VRoom and VVV, I guess I'm set for a while. Moreover, I'm a preset pusher, and H-Reverb seems more complicated than I can handle.
Then again, if Waves starts issuing those $50 vouchers again, and the bundle is offered for $20 or so, yeah, then ...

So looking into H-Reverb a bit. One of it's unique features is tempo sync on the pre-delay. I'm also on the fence on this one. If I'm honest, it's not quite cheap enough for my Waves purchasing pattern.

Strange, the offer reverted to the original price just now. will it be coming back?Uncle E wrote:Uh oh:bftucker wrote:Thank you, JRRshop, for making a good deal from Eventide a little better. With Spaces, Waves Gold, Eventide Anthology, Blackhole, Stereo Room 2016, Soundtoys 5, Overloud Breverb 2, Rematrix, and others I might forget, I think I can skip some deals on reverb...Fleer wrote:May seem strange for a verb slut, but I'm holding off on this H-Series bundle (and the H-Reverb). Spaces is meant for positioning orchestral instruments around a soundstage and is better for orchestral or soundtrack work, Seventh Heaven is a Bricasti - including a detailed and accurate sounding emulation of the Bricasti's early reflection engine - and is great for enhancing the audio and making it sound bigger than life.dzilizzi wrote:I really shouldn't be spending the money after buying Spaces. The H-Reverb is a really, really nice one though. It has many unique and interesting features. It's gotten me to try many things that I wouldn't have tried if they weren't built-in, and I'm already someone who likes to stack a lot of plugins before and after reverbs on my reverb sends. The envelope modulation does things that I usually use a transient designer for.systmu wrote:I'll grab that blackhole but I'm definitely thinking about getting the h-reverb too. That makes it a lot more interesting. I will have to try out the demo on it. thanksUncle E wrote:Spaces is meant for positioning orchestral instruments around a soundstage and is better for orchestral or soundtrack work, Seventh Heaven is a Bricasti - including a detailed and accurate sounding emulation of the Bricasti's early reflection engine - and is great for enhancing the audio and making it sound bigger than life.dzilizzi wrote:I really shouldn't be spending the money after buying Spaces. How does the Eventide crossgrade work ? Do I have to have Anthology X ?Would I be crossgrading from their own products?
