Looking to pick up this little transport. Anybody use Shuttle Xpress and Waveform?
Just seeing if it works well.

Been testing out Waveform and enjoy the workflow tracktion has developed. So decided to jump in.
Any info thanks and or suggestions for other transports too. G

I use a Ipad with Ac-7core, a andriod tablet with touch Daw, a nano controller and a 2 launch pads. They all are in different places in my studio. The andriod is for when I am recording at fussion 8hd alessis workstation. One launch pad and the nano control sits at my main seating position do to the fact I can transport control and play midi with the launch pad the other launch pad is at my mpc renisance to transport control and also play midi and finally my Ipad with ac7-core is my go to when I want to sit any were and mix.

I use a Korg nanoKONTROL studio. It's very good. Having a jog wheel makes a massive difference, although the stepping implementation in T7 can be a bit annoying as it seems to step based on screen position rather than beat/bar. I also have to route it through MIDI-OX to modify the incoming jog wheel values as T7 doesn't support 7-bit signed values for the wheel.

I think I'd be perfectly happy with just the Shuttle XPress as I rarely use the Korg's sliders and knobs.

Thanks for the info. I managed to find a Tranzport used. We will see what kind of condition when its gets.

Psyched man. In the past I have worked with Ableton, Bitwig, Cubase - but this year looking to downsize and minimize plugs.
Something about the one screen and open box tech environment just clicked with me. Prolly the day gig programming for marketing... It just seems that other DAWs make the GUI easy at the same time lock you into what you can and can not do in the DAW. Tracktion looks to be more open ended and at the same time running a lot lighter on my system.
