Having keyboard imput to switch presets would be good too.

I previously had Podolski (and demo of Zebra) installed on Linux and it worked fine after applying the fix described a few pages back. I had to make a new installation last week and installed Podolski on a fresh Xubuntu 17.04. I had the GUI-problem with the non-showing context menus and the selection-boxes missing. I applied the script from a couple of pages back in this thread, but it did not solve the problem unfortunately. I also tried deleting the dialog.*.* files and reapplying the script as suggested in this thread, but that also did not work.

Running dialog.64.real from the terminal yields an error: "3: exec: ~/.u-he/Podolski/dialog.64.real.real: not found".

Does anybody have an idea on what to do? (before I found this thread I discussed this issue on https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxaudio/com ... _boxes_in/ (https://www.reddit.com/r/linuxaudio/comments/69fbga/looking_for_fix_for_invisible_dialog_boxes_in/) , but they pointed me here)

I've had no issues with those plugins in several linux versions, and several daw apps.

I would install lxde or cinnamon window managers, and choose the different environments
from the login screen session options when rebooting. If it's not working in alternate window managers, use Mint linux, and install xfce as an add-on. There is a working linux version
of Reaper, all the U-he plugins work in it, in Mint 17 or 18, among others.
Good luck!

I had also had it working in XFCE and Ardour previously, so I was surprised it did not work properly here. I tried running it in native Linux Reaper, same problem.

I would prefer not having to change window managers over this, so if anybody else has any ideas?

Anyone getting right click on a touch screen in Linux? I've, an I doing something wrong it is this just not implemented?

Ok, I have some zebra patches that produce xruns 100% of the time. Example 'PAD still Water' in Sches' ambient voices set. These are pretty complex patches. But for v 2.3, so no XMF filters. Why would they xrun?

Have you pinned the cpu-frequency to max ?
If the scheduler is "on demand" I get x-runs too

Ah, that was it, forgot after a reboot. Thanks Anders

Looks like I'm the only person in the universe using uhe plugins in linux with a touchscreen. Noone answered to the 'right click on touch' question :)

You`re not the only one. I use a touchscreen on my Debian box. But Linux is not ready for multitouch and gestures, so there is only a simple single touch without the ability for "right click". Don`t blame U-he for this. Use your mouse. If you want to use multitouch, you have to wait for the next big step or use Windows 10 in between :)

Hi,
I would like to buy a licence for Presswerk, but I noticed that when I click on the "Enter Your Serial Number" text nothing happens. If I click on "purchase a licence" or "can't find your serial" i am directed to the relative web pages.

Is there a solution to this? Because the crackling is driving me crazy!

Which DAW do you use? Does register work if you use renoise or Bitwig?
Anyway you can edit the registration file yourself :) So yes you can buy.
Enjoy!

Post

Hi abique,

I am using Bitwig on Ubuntu Budgie 17.04

In Ardour, the GUI was not responsive at all.

I haven't checked renoise.

Okay! Thanks a lot!

Hi Abique,
I have a licence now - where is the registration file to edit?

Thanks

Edit the file ~/.u-he/Presswerk/Support/com.u-he.Presswerk.user.txt with the following format:

My Name
XXX-XXX-XXX-XXX
