Melda Listening area/Music Cafe

Hi all
Would you be interested in a listening area/thread here in the Meldaproduction forum for everyone making music using Meldaproduction plugins? Vojtech what would you say?
I think it could be helpful for mixing/mastering questions and of course creative as well, since we all use the same plugins and I believe there are many skilled producers here. I have had a lot of benefit from the Listening Booth over at the IDM forums.
I know about the KVR Music Cafe but I would like a listening area more specific to Melda plugins.

It would be good for me. I just finished a song where I used 90% melda plugins. I don't know if we need a whole area, but a sticky thread would be good. I'd like to see how other people do things and creative ways people are doing things. It would be a good chance to learn something new.

Yes I have to agree. The problem I have is that most people don't offer feedback.
Don't just read the posts "Stand up and be Counted" add your input.
I sit here on my own creating something with no input. It is very difficult if nobody else has an opinion.
I mix a song and until the client gets back to me I have no idea how good it is. I am just guessing.

Spencerlee from where do you have this experience? At KVR?
As I said I have very fine experience with a lot of feedback at the IDM forums.
Anyone else who would like a Melda specific sticky thread like this?

Like this idea.
I had the idea with the melda contest, that the winner or who likes to share his work on the project could write something about it?! Maybe also sharing his project data? I know this can only be used by owners of the same daw.
Chandlerhimself, like to know what are the other 10% plugins you use beside melda plugins?
Thanks
Marek

Well, I must say, I sort of like the idea. In many cases in the contests I felt like "I should point out this and that about this particular mix", but there wasn't a way too and eventually there were too many of them. But a site where people could share mixes and get some feedback would definitely be helpful. There is no way to do that "only with Melda", because that would mean we have to check every submission and many people still want to use some other plugins anyway, but we can at least attach it to Melda account. I'll think about it.
Anyways, another true story is that I'd often like my mixes to be checked by public
, because I usually feel like "now I have no idea if it sucks or not"

Here is a breakdown of a song I did recently where I used mostly melda plugins. I hope in the future there is some sort of place where people can share things easily.
Here is the song.

But two posts sharing music now, so that sounds like it could be useful with a listening/share your music area.
If the listening area is made on Melda's site I think people can still point to it using this thread.
Thanks for sharing Thavma! Not really my style but your result sounds much more clear and well produced.Thavma wrote:Used some Trash and Guitar Rig but 90% Melda

@Thavma Nice. You really made that mix hit hard.
@Soarer It should be fixed now. I must have used the wrong links or something.

So I have been asked to remix a track that I recorded over 20 years ago.
I set up a basic mix last week and decided to do a Guiness mix.
This means drink a large quantity of Guiness and see where the mix goes.
So here is the result. I will probably have to take this down tomorrow as it will sound like shit.
Anyway have a listen...
