I guess that , very, young Belgian girl was very nervous. Poor girl. **Indeed it was very fragile. She sang very low. At leasxt that was what it sounded like when we watched.

I also very much like that Salvatore Sobral won by singing in porgugeese. While most other contries sing in English nowdays.

I think only Irish and British entries should be allowed in English, everyone should have to sing in their mother tongue.

I didn't watch it, as usual, but I was surprised to hear Salvador won. He does have an interesting voice, though, almost a woman's voice at times, I have heard him sing nicer songs on the national level, Jazz stuff.
His movements are odd, almost a bit like Joe Cocker

They never won the contest before. Italy won in 1964. And exactly 9 months later I was born. Not that it's significant lol
