They had a sale in early April. Looking at my email archive, they've done summer sales in June or September and a Black Friday sale in previous years.c_voltage wrote:Folks, do sometimes occur discounts to Glitchmachines ? How often.

Glitchmachines POLYGON is monophonic and that is the reason I will wait ofr V2 and hope it is polyphonic.
http://glitchmachines.com/products/polygon/
also like
Cataract
http://glitchmachines.com/products/cataract/
Combine them and call it PolyCat.
Will you buy any of the Ineardisplay plugins?

I have Ephemere, Incipit, and Cruelle. I like them! They are more CPU efficient than the Glitchmachines stuff(not that GM stuff is particularly taxing...Cataract runs 8 to 20 percent CPU on my i5 MBP ), though they are less complex...perhaps a little more straightforward. Think weird and twisted kind of mangling, as a opposed to the chew up and spit out kind from GM. I'll probably get Litote. For the current price, it's a no-brainer

May get both Litoe and Incipit for the $39
Litoe is a VST fx
and so is Incipit?
The Glitchmachines POLYGON and Cataract both are VSTi's.
I am pretty sure.

I tried all 4 non-free plugs (incl litote and incipit) and liked it all. Well, i can't say that i found something very new, but in the same time some ways (Incipit) as well sound results (3 other plugs) seemed to me enough fun (In good sense).Kalamata Kid wrote:Will you buy any of the Ineardisplay plugins?
But frankly to say when i accidentaly noticed before from time to time UI's of inear plugs it seemed to me as something very sad. And if not sale pehaps i would be never tried it. But it turns out that was wrong.
The another moment, i very agree with opinions which was in Litote topic that it slightly strange approach in terms of control of his sound (close to lack of control). But in his chaotic results can catch some really damn good cut's (even having many granular plugins). Therefore, it is very difficult to pass by.
Well, ok, what about other:
Incipit (the main pros-es):
- audiorate mode in lfo.
- some original visual approach to modulation matrix, that not doing something new by itself, but such combination seems quite useful.
- good random system, macros.
(There is other features, but for example i'm not a fan of pitch in delays, so, can't estimate this)
Cruelle - well, enough hear his sound that think "hmm it need". Though i did not go into the details of how it works, and here only a few knobs (I like when a lot of knobs). Additionaly, i can say that distortion effects this is perhaps a less planned units which i imagined to want to buy more. But unexpectedly.
Ephemere - Sound really impressed. Though - a very little complaint, that it seems it "works" mainly in conjunction with drive knob. But on the other hand, what's the difference, if sound result are cool.
Other his pros:
- multioutput
- advanced random system + trigging probability
- interesting sound of filter (as well as drive)
And in general, all plugins quite not very hungree to cpu (in many cases quite light) and fully automatable (even midi-assignable, through alt+click).
So, i would say, for deal price it need all (i.e. i will buy all 4).

Not interested in glitch so I hope that the Litote and Incipit can go in the ambient direction.
I like odd usual sounds so I hope I can achieve this with these two VST fx.
Also love randomizers.
Getting closer to pulling the trigger.
But then I am also looking at Blackhole for $42.
Can't do both.
What's a guy to do

OK, you just GOTTA get Blackhole. JrrShop has a little extra discount too. I really like both Incipit, and I just pulled the trigger on Litote, so I just can't say much about it. Blackhole for 47 (or less) is a MUST HAVE. The InEar Display guy would probably even agree with me.

I see your and c_voltage point of view. I already have a few other reverb and delays.W23 wrote:OK, you just GOTTA get Blackhole. JrrShop has a little extra discount too. Blackhole was on sale during Christmas and from JRR could be had for $42 same as now.
Well I passed it up then due to budgetary constraints to limit my GAS.
Thanks for you advice. Perhaps some beautiful young lady will rent my body $42
and another one for $39 and this way I will get both deals.
I am waiting!
