What's your host? If you don't want to use them most hosts will allow plugins to be deselected.

Ah, yes... on Linux I think we also use the multi-plug-in API for VST2.re23071998 wrote: Im on linux right now, and theres only Zebra.64.so , no individul plugin

Must be better to ask the Bitwig devs to implement support for this..re23071998 wrote:bitwig doesn't have that feature, Mr. Urs please separate them

No, it will need to be updated.
I mean, it will work, but it won't have the new modules.

[As it was] originally suggested 2.8 would likely be out by the end of January... 4.5 months later and we're still weeks away.EvilDragon wrote:Not out yet, still in beta.
If this proportion holds, I'm not gonna live to see the release of Z3.
Note: I'm 26.

Also, this might be a bit off topic, but I'm just wondering: I've had Zebra for quite sometime now, but I still find it difficult to achieve things that I can with ease in Thor. I feel like Zebra's a more capable synth that affords the opportunity for much more finesse, but things still elude me as it's a bit less conventional than the environments I was taught in.
Things like choosing a simple triangle to impart texture to via AMing it with a multi-osc module (set to a rounded square wave) using a detune preset that simultaneously ascends and descends to the octave. Where you'd then set a mod envelope to control the detune amount, and loop it. (abbreviated, but ^this is the core concept)
Video of the result:
EDIT: In an effort to bring this back to the topic at hand, if ^the above isn't easily implemented in Zebra due to a lack of an AM module (I know Urs has eluded to using a mix of RM with the dry signal of the intended "carrier" at a ratio of 1:2, but I'm not sure I've succeeded in my attempts.) and/ or different detune types, etc. Might there be hope to be able to reach ^this result with greater ease in the future.

However long it's necessary to get it done.

From today's company meeting: The UI is finished, but only Zebra 2.8, not Zebrify, nor ZebraHZ. We'll put this into internal beta testing asap. However, there's a possible sound regression bug that needs to be looked at and we might want to merge the tagged based and searchable preset browser into it (which can cost a lot of time to integrate and test).

+1 to add the tag + search browser. I don't mind if it takes 6 months.
