Hello u-he,

i want perform and control the XY with real joysticks - ribbon pads.
Is it conceivable in the near future that we can get a little controller special for zebra?

Not from u-he, no.
You can however use any MIDI based 3rd party controller with joystick or X/Y pad or ribbons or or or... :)

Why always no ?
Zebra is perfect there is no need for other synths.
3rd party controller are not satisfying :(

Post

Because u-he is a software vendor, not hardware.

An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

I use my NUKE with Zebra already

Post

The nuke controller is the only logical solution. But they are hard to find.

It's great but it only controls one XY at a time - Lemur works better

Post

Lemur is good but i like to control the 4 XY and more the old way.
4 Nuke in one controller with digital display for every part and even more :)

Post

Korg nanoPAD will work nicely, too.

Although, with Lemur you could program your own template to have all 4 XYs available at once...

I did ages ago

not used Lemur for yonks though so may not work anymore - ultimately I also prefer something more tactile so still use the NUKE + Kore for most things (occasionally the XY on my Z1 too)

Overall I prefer Kore for Zebra as you can use it in a modular way that reflects Zebra's structure nicely

I like Ribbon, joystick and expression pedals for softies.

Everyone is invited to make suggestions.I hope that someone still does something so we all can enjoy Zebra even more :)

An expensive solution: both versions of the Korg Wavestation have an x-y axis joystick that use MIDI CC 16 and 17.

Post

The Korg Kontrol 49 is a better possibility.
