Request: Full MPE support for MPS

Hello,
I am testing MPowerSynth and am very excited about this monstrous software synth!
Since I normally use MPE controllers for expressive recording / playing, I would like to suggest full MPE support for MPowerSynth. So expression per note, as it is possible with VST3, too.
Though there are some synths, for example ROLI Equator VST, which are built using VST2, but still fully support MPE. So obviously, VST3 is not a requirement.
Keep up the great work!

Hi and thank you!
Now, I'm afraid the support is already there but it is limited. There's generally the limit of modulation of most parameters to single notes. It's tested only on LinnStrument, but seems working fine - tracks pitch (set Pitch bend range to 24 in advanced settings for LinnStrument), tracks velocity/aftertouch (check Filter tab for settings), and the vertical Y axis doesn't work polyphonically I'm afraid, it is shared between the notes, whether multichannel or not. That's the inevitable limitation of the design. For MYYY (the future ultimate instrument) I plan full modulation of everything, now that will be a challenge...

You can have better MPE support with 6 voice polyphony if you use MXXX in linked bands mode but then of course you loose direct automation control and everything will be running in 1 cpu thread.
+1 for full support.
+1 for full support.

Well, we'll have to wait for MYYY I'm afraid
. Some design obstacles are just impossible to get around...

Fixed. It worked for Modular, but not for the full MXXX instance inside MXXX.

+1 would like full MPE support for MPS. MPS would be incredible with full support and could be added to Linn and Roli's list of supported synths aiding in marketing and sales. Hows that for an incentive.

I'm afraid it just won't happen, the entire structure would need to be different, so in a way starting from scratch. But the good news is MSoundFactory does that
.
