Is it possible to import simple wav files to Collective sampler? Or how to create samples in collsound/aktionsound format to use own sounds?

I don't know the answer to that, but in the NAMM videos they did say that the intention was to develop it soon to make it more open and allow access to many other options. If it can't be done yet (I assume you've checked the manual), it will come.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Yes .. there is a manual now for all the TSC products check your plugin folder or Tracktion site , I have PDFs for every individual DAW essentials plugins now , I think you can pull it up while the Collective plugin GUI is open somehow .... I don't fool with Collective it's not my thing , and I get alot of pops and clicks on certain presets , same with Biotek , so I don't mess with those 2 plugins that's not my only hang up with em , I just prefer stuff like Battery4 , Renoise Redux , so Collective and Biotek was not my thing but yes you can import wav samples into it . Now Biotek I'm not so sure about loading samples but I heard you can..

Unfortunately, manual only says about preset files. Wav's doesn't drop nor import through load button.

Page 13. Section 4.3 , Page 17 Section 4.7.2 .... Yes, there is not an " Initial Preset " ...that I know of or see , I haven't messed with Collective much out of testing presets .. It's just not for me .... I've had better luck with Collective and Biotek after turning on multicore with the pops and clicks ( found that setting yesterday , but those 2 VSTi are just are not for me I'm not a big synth or sample/synth user ... I like stuff like Battery4 , Poise , and Renoise Redux , for sampler instruments ...

Oh, I get it. My mistake. Instruments presets is not a sample, so I need to load samples in Osc tabs through changing their type from sine/square/etc to "sample". It's not so obvious. Thank you!

I recommend Tracktion to slightly change the UI controls. You have dropdowns, hold buttons and tabs, that looks the same way, like standart buttons. It blows my mind :-)
For example, dropdowns needs a small down arrows, hold buttons is actually a checkboxes which needs on/off indicators. And tab groups should be different from buttons, maybe with rounded corners at their sides, like in gui on MacOs.

No, its not really your mistake and you are right it is not very straightforward , I also had someone point this same thing out to me here and I felt REALLY stupid . I have people help me all the time and sometimes I'm like wow how did I not figure that out ? I hope I didn't come off as a jerk ... And if you feel stupid don't because I've been there and will be there again .

If you select "Sample" for the oscillator type, hit the "Browse" button, then you can choose Preset or User. If you choose User and click "Reveal" it will open the path to the User samples. It will probably be empty until you add your own.

On Windows it should be located at "C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Tracktion\Collective\Samples".

You can just drag some wave files over to that folder and refresh the view in Collective, and they will be available for use!
Windows 10 and too many plugins
