r0bsta wrote:1) ability to set mix faders by typing in a value, for when you need to hit 0 or suchlike
2) a virtual dip around 0 so I could get a fader to 0 rather than nowhere between -0.67 and 0.34
1) Ctrl+Click on the Fader to enter a volume value, or ctrl click pan to enter a value

2) set a predefined volume of each new track in preferences. I set it to -10db default and use a maximizer on master, so i get enough head room for mixing.

1. STEP INPUT. Please. I need it so badly. I love the quickness of the pencil tool but I have a perfectly good midi keyboard in front of me... :(

2 Vertical automation snapping when lining points up with eachother. That said, more consistent automation snapping in general would be appreciated, have them be like clips.

3. Triangle waves in polysynth.

4. More track colors? I particularly like the lighter pastel-y ones, more of those.

set look-ahead for dynamics. Would love to kick in the side-chain some ms before the kickdrum hits

1) Notepad

Every DAW I've worked with (Logic, Cubase, Studio One and Ableton Live) have built in notepads and I've really gotten dependent on this functionality. Please add this if possible!! (or is it there and I can't find it?)

You can make notes in your project view on the right side.

This! If there are presets I liked for a particular part or ideas about what to automate later on I like to make notes and indeed do in Live and Cubase.

I hope it's already there and I can't find it! (Actually, that would be bad design! )

That's great!

But I would prefer per channel, on the left inside the inspector view would make sense. On projects with many tracks, it might get a bit too cumbersome to have all the notes in the project info space.

The other DAWs allow note taking per channel btw.

But thanks for pointing it out. I never got to the end of the thread.

I know, a bit silly but if people rely on notes it might help.

Edit: a doesn't seem to be alive anymore. Maybe one can find it elsewhere in the net.

Great idea for a VST Plugin! Thanks Maki, if I get frustrated, I'll try tracking this down. :tu:

Ok I just realized you can hold command and then copy the value for a knob there.

I guess what I was expecting was that I could right click on the knob and select copy value, and then right click on it again and select paste value.

1. More space for arangement view
2. Wavetable for polysynth (I know I can use sampler, but its very limited, like how to detune?)
thats all!

Mainly workflow things. It can be a real annoying click/scroll-mess at times.

- horizontal+vertical Zoom to Fit, and make it mouse position aware
- remember the scroll position in the device panel (goddamn)
- fold/unfold multiple devices (+slots) at once (goddamn)
- remove the click-point aware autoscrolling of arranger clips (goddamn)
