When you completed the new scan, did you check to see if there were errors? That might inform you if there is a particular plugin causing your problems.
I did - rolled it back and the same issues occurred... to me that seemed to indicate some sort of issue with the plug in cache or index... or something else in the program files becoming corrupt in some way.

Ouch, not very promising news. I'm a big fan of running a live sampler/looper VST plugin, that calculates the tempo after the very first loop you're grabbing out of the live input, as the tempo sync master for the host. If BWS doesn't sync up well to external MIDI Clock I may have to stick with Bidule or Mainstage for the next gigs. BWS as the slave syncing host app is a dream so sweet, so I don't mind waiting for an upgrade where the dev's may get it right.

What are you doing? I think it is pretty straight and easy to get the clock syncing right.

No problems, I have the full license since BWS 1. I will try out the slave sync in detail ASAP. But right now work is too busy.
