I don't have any doubt. look what you did with freegures. if I didn't suspect promotional reasons, I wouldn't get the point why it is free... ;)

if (should this ever happen) I had enough time to try to get the sound of the old PLUS to LO3, would you allow me to? (if it's not me, it might be as well somebody else). not for commercial reasons, of course, and with matching credits... ?!

!!

LittleOne has a basic resolution of 1000x550, in a 24" it should be well visible ! By the way we're talking about micro-leds around the knobs eheh... also if (from your own words) I found great the mental image of you, in front of your studio monitor, playing LittleOne with a monocle

Obviously for retina support a 200% bigger GUI (width/height) will be provided.

Exactly, because of that size in pixels, it fills about 1/4 of my screen as said before. It probably looks better on a notebook, as usual.

I think the color scheme of the preset display makes little sense. Very hard to read.
The same goes for the red numbers in the sequencer.

Hehe, yes, I need a third hand to hold the magnifying glass, it is one of those Sherlock Holmes thingies :hihi:

200% gui will be fine on any screen.

I didn't add that feature because the framework I'm using do not support native gui scaling, specially the non-integer type, and I'm finding the best way to feature it...

By the way concentrate on the DSP side... for now !

I tried myself to resurrect PLUS to v3, yet somehow on my way I was getting tired and just realised that whatever I was doing I was just missing the point why PLUS had been created initially. v3's new skeleton was pushing me somewhere elso so I quit and made FREEfures and the bank that is to be released soon.

If you had enough energy, knock yourself out, need a 2.x copy?

No, even that is not really mandatory. There is a trick. Using a SSD device as C: I have a 2.5" disk only as D: unit and everything is on D: (even the applications as soon as they are not system apps).
:D

When something MUST (by impossibility to choose in the installer) be in a directory somewhere in the C: unit, I let the installer go to the end as it must be... then I simply move to D: all the things I want to have on D: and in the original directory I simply put a symbolic link using Link Shell Extension. It's been more than 15 years that I do that way, and I have never had any issue. And for LittleOne as for any other thing, it works perfect. Result: I have everything on my physical 2.5" D: unit (even the folders Documents, Music, Video, Pictures, etc. and even the folder Desktop, the folder Temp, etc. which incidentally can be moved by their properties (and see here for Temp) even without Link Shell Extension) and there is almost nothing (only the original Windows System files) on my very small SSD C: unit.
:tu:
Doesn't Windows shell provide a tool for such a simple thing as making soft- or hardlinks???

Is the only why to do this in Windows by installing some 3rd party software? For linking?

I find that a bit odd.

Anyway. The mothod described is otherwise a good way to solve the issue.

I think there might be something wrong with the mono mode when retrigger is on, i.e. legato off. Probably has to do with the last note priority.

Say, I play note x and keep it pressed down. Then I play a second note y and keep it pressed down, too. Now, when I release note x, note y is retriggered although I was still keeping it pressed and sounding. I think the retriggering should only take place when the note changes. At least that's how I know it from other synths.

It always mesmerize me how you deal with your four paws! :D
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

That are minor, known issues. They are already planned to be addressed with the next updates.

With the release of LittleOne version 3.0.5 my aim was to address some important issues and to make it very solid also for music production scenarios.

I observed this one, too. Although TBH I don't think it's minor.
A well-behaved signature.

Same here, I would not pay a single cent for a synth with such an issue.
But I get the impression we are more like beta testers, anyway :)

....?

Hi fluffy and /or others,

please listen to my words for one minute : if we joined here to make a fair and polite discussion it is ok for me... :)

I never asked or forced you or others here to give me your money, never asked to make a betatest. And you also never supported my *hard work* before. But from hours you're just asking and ordering "fix that, add that, make this..."

Ehy.....?! eheh :)

Really, I have nothing against you or other people here but please, always remember to use a polite tone, so we can keep a polite discussion. Remember that behind the scenes, there's my hard work (...and, as always happen, it is something totally unsupported by the ones "screaming" you what *YOU HAVE* to do).

And, about 100000000 times in the last 3/4 pages, I stated that I'm aware of all the fixes that should be introduced, that I keep record of each one of them, and that any fix will be made in the next updates - available for free, as for free I made this HUGE upgrade for previous customers, just because 7 years ago I promised that in an email...:)

If you are not sure, simply avoid to buy my products. IF and/or WHEN you'll think my products worth some money and you decide to purchase them, you'll be welcome, only if/when you'll be SURE of that.

Really, do not take my words as a vent - I'm not against fluffy, not against others. I would just to clarify that. It is something valid in this thread as also in other developers threads, as also in everyday life : let's continue our discussion with respect and politeness, ok? :tu:
