is there a difference in the functions when I use the Arturia BeatStep Black Edition?
I use Bitwig Version 1.3.16 and the Script 2.05, but the Big Knob and many other Buttons have no Funktion.

You need to load the Beatstep Template. Seems I forgot to include it in the DrivenByMoss download. It is now included, so please do download it again.

its the pain in the butt again

I have just installed the new script for my BSP
all is working fine
except I have the same problem I had with the older script

ie: I load a new project with just one vst, the arturia mini v
I put the bsp in control mode and the mini v in midi learn mode
but when I turn a knob it does not get learned

but if I load the mini v in stand alone mode it works
am I doing something wrong?

Hi Kev,

I guess there is a basic misunderstanding. If you run the script all functionality is automatically mapped (see the documentation on the Wiki). There is no need (and you cannot) map it. If you want to do the mapping yourself, simply do not use the script.

I don't understand what you mean

if I use the old BS and put that in control mode
I can map the knobs to the mini v perfectly

why cant I just do the same with the BSP

I don't understand when you say all functionality is automatically mapped

if I don't use the script can I still use the BSP IE: select ch 1 and ch 2 and 10 for drums
I thought that was what the script does

I am very confused

can you explain for a 10 year old then I might understand

The DrivenByMoss.bwextension contains now all my controller scripts incl. Launchpad Pro/MkII support. Since this script shows automatically up it means you had used it sometime before and looking at your screenshot there are also the correct midi ports. So you say you do not have a Launchpad Pro or MkII and none is connected?!

Hi Moss

Yes I have a Launchpad Pro but no I don't have a Mkii
so I am asking why does the MKii option show up in the inspector list
of inputs

Also I see to have 2 inputs for the Launchpad pro
one that starts with Arturia and one that starts with Novation

And one more thing, is that if I have say 10-15 tracks
and I use my mouse wheel to scroll through them
before I get to the bottom . it jumps back to the first track

if I don't enable the Beaststep pro this does not happen

I also still get the strange problem
of the first time I launch BW the BSP and BS1 doesn't start
until I Deactivate the audio engine and then reactivate it
after that any further projects work with out doing this

Got it! Stupid copy and paste error. Will be fixed in the next version. So far you can just ignore it, it is just a wrong name.

it just goes back to the top or first track

if I stop the BSP or mute both the sequences this does not happen

its as if the BSP is sending cc,s or some control messages
can you shed any light why this is happening
