They often do, but, it will take a while for them to update their websites. Waiting on Uncle E to get on with business

If you are correct than things are looking up.ghettosynth wrote:Not necessarily. I believe that since you are "upgrading" you will still have a license for K11 (standard) in your account. There's no reason that you couldn't also later "update" that to 12 thus giving you the instruments in K11U plus whatever important stuff comes with K12.Kalamata Kid wrote:Thanks. I saw it right before you responded.dermage wrote:Kalamata Kid wrote:I did not see an upgrade from Komplete 11 to Komplete 11 Ultimate.
just log in to your account, you should see the crossgrade offer for 299
But then after giving it some thought I will probably upgrade/crossgrade? from K11 to K12U at the next release for $600. The problem then is that hereafter I must stay with the Ultimate.
I'm sure that someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm thinking about K11U since I'm still on K9 and there is a lot of stuff in U that I want, but, I doubt very seriously that K12U will tempt me at all. It's all about that marginal additional value you know.

They do, but so far they only had the boxed versions if I remember correctly. Download you could only get directly from NI. Not sure if it is different this time but it does not look that way. Time & Space would be the cheapest but the shipping is a bit of a hassle. And sometimes they allow only shipping within the UK.soundbylaura wrote:I don't remember: do 3rd party vendors get in on the half-price upgrades?
Yes, you keep a license for Komplete when you upgrade to Ultimate. And that allows you to later update either Komplete or Ultimate (provided that NI will allow to update K9 to K12).Kalamata Kid wrote:If you are correct than things are looking up.
So upgrade from K11 to KU11 now.
later upgrade to K12 and will still have access to all of KU11.
If you order the boxed version from NI do they put the serial in your account right away, or, do you have to wait for the box to arrive? I'm assuming the latter.mgw38 wrote:They do, but so far they only had the boxed versions if I remember correctly. Download you could only get directly from NI. Yes, the latter. At least it has been that way since the first ultimate version. The serial is associated with boxed version and they probably can't guess what box is being shipped to you when you place the order.ghettosynth wrote:If you order the boxed version from NI do they put the serial in your account right away, or, do you have to wait for the box to arrive? Yep, as i remember before was more various ways for upgrade (include from reaktor or guitar rig) but then it's was removed it seems, bad. Ie become a less sense to buy singles (even with discount)sellyoursoul wrote:Too bad NI isn't offering the upgrade discount for Reaktor. Buying a Reaktor license is the same price as Komplete Select. What's the deal?
