Send them a mail. I spent around $250 with them and I also get $25 vouchers. They said that for $75 vouchers, one must have spent $1k.audington wrote:Wow, that's insane! Very unlikely since you could return the box before you break the seal open.bharris22 wrote:Does anyone know whether, if you buy the Komplete physical hard drive from NI, you can download some of the products while you are waiting for your box to arrive? In other words, do they pre-register for you when you order a physical product?
Yes.bharris22 wrote:In addition, question for those with the hard drive. I assume that all of the Kontakt and other libraries are installed on the drive, as well as the actual installers for the main programs. Thus, if I wanted to run Kontakt on a new computer, for example, I would only need to install the main Kontakt program on the computer and can keep the factory library on the hard drive. However, if I wanted to install the factory library on the computer's internal drive, I can still do that as well - is that correct?

Anyone know how long LinPlug will still be selling their products now that they are officially closing down development and support? Thanks.

Most likely they will just keep the purchase links alive. You can still buy the stuff they retired in 2015 even though that sale was supposed to end October 2015:DJBuddhaBear wrote:Anyone know how long LinPlug will still be selling their products now that they are officially closing down development and support? That's good to know. I own many of those already discontinued products and really like their plugins. Like everyone, I have a limited budget and want to spend for NI Komplete this month as long as I know I can pretty safely count on Linplug stuff being available for purchase for at least the summer months.mgw38 wrote:Most likely they will just keep the purchase links alive. Same here. Spectral is a must-have imo. One of the best. Sad day.DJBuddhaBear wrote: Like everyone, I have a limited budget and want to spend for NI Komplete this month as long as I know I can pretty safely count on Linplug stuff being available for purchase for at least the summer months.

Spectral and CRX4 both interest me greatly. Good to hear how great a synth Spectral is. I definitely need to get it.mgw38 wrote:Same here. Spectral is a must-have imo. One of the best. Not necessarily, if they treated it as a digital download for return purposes (in other words, if you chose the immediate download with physical product to follow, no returns).mgw38 wrote:Very unlikely since you could return the box before you break the seal open.bharris22 wrote:Does anyone know whether, if you buy the Komplete physical hard drive from NI, you can download some of the products while you are waiting for your box to arrive? I been looking and haven't yet found a dealer that has the individual product updates/upgrades, only the full K11 packages.Kalamata Kid wrote:Can ReplikaXT be had for less than $24.50
at a dealer?
The NI Sale is on for the whole of June?

One other question for those who have purchased Komplete on hard drive in the past - once you register your serial number, are all of the programs then available in your account for download from NI, as well?

I'm not any NI product expert, but if I understand correctly, the Native Access gives option for the flexible downloading of the single products of the bundle.

CRX4 is one of my go-to synths. It just sounds so great. I've also been taking advantage of their older plugin deals, like Octopuss. That synth is possibly the deepest FM synth ever built, while not being as user friendly or easy to use as FM8 or Operator.DJBuddhaBear wrote:Spectral and CRX4 both interest me greatly. Spectral is definitely my next purchase, after I dig out of my hole from upgrading to Komplete Ultimate, lol.

Their policy does not cover that possibility, however.bharris22 wrote:Not necessarily, if they treated it as a digital download for return purposes (in other words, if you chose the immediate download with physical product to follow, no returns).mgw38 wrote:Very unlikely since you could return the box before you break the seal open.bharris22 wrote:Does anyone know whether, if you buy the Komplete physical hard drive from NI, you can download some of the products while you are waiting for your box to arrive? I can only speak from Komplete 10 Ultimate on hard drive, once I had installed the programs I needed from the hard drive, I had to authorize thru service center. Once I had done that, all of the programs were available for download from Native Access. Hope this helps.bharris22 wrote:One other question for those who have purchased Komplete on hard drive in the past - once you register your serial number, are all of the programs then available in your account for download from NI, as well?
