Synchro bug?
Quick setup tab:
a)
- load a rhythm into chanel 1
- hit play > it plays (okay)
- merge a second rhythm to it (claps 0010 from background percussion)
- hit play > both play together (okay)
b)
- load a rhythm into chanel 1
- merge the second rhythm to it (claps 0010 from background percussion) again
- hit play > both play together like before
NOW
- load the same second rhythm (claps 0010 from background percussion) INTO CHANEL 2
- hit play chanel 1 > it plays rhythm 1 + 2 (okay)
!: When now you aditionally start chanel 2, the 2nd rhythm (the claps) does start, but depending on the certain moment you hit play it is put on different parts of the chanel-1-loop. Sometimes on the beat, sometimes off-beat, ...
Is this a bug?
Shouln't it (rhythm2 / claps) always stick on the same loction of the chanel 1 loop, indpendently if it is being merged on chanel 1 or loaded aditionally on chanel 2?

This depends on the tempo & signature of the song. Could you send the project to me via info@meldaproduction.com? I'll check it out for you. Basically the classic "problem" is that MDrummer reacts to your commands as soon as possible, but depending on the signature what you feel like "the same bar" may actually be a different bar, so MDrummer starts synchronizing with the odd / even bars, because that's what you asked him to do, but well, it might have not been what you actually wanted

Actually it is not a project. I was playing around with the standalone version testing the rhythms in "quick setup", trying to understand how to use different channels.MeldaProduction wrote: Could you send the project to me via info@meldaproduction.com?

To exactly sync channels you need to use Song tab or MIDI commands. I think of quick setup (or Rhythm Editor for that matter) as 'auditioning/ testing/ setting up' different rhythms (and channels) one at a time. Perhaps to avoid confusion MD should play just the one selected channel when in quick setup or rhythm editor, leaving the combining of channels to Song or MIDI command?
