diva arp problem

does anyone know why the random arp doesent work ?

i´ll try all kind of playmodes poly, mono, octaves, progression etc.

i can´t hear any difference or just minimal. but no random notes are playing.

if i trigger it with a external sequencer/arp. everthing works.

any idea, or is it a bug ? does anyone else have this problem, Or do i something wrong ? thx

I think there must be a misunderstanding on your part. Quoting the manual:

"Arpeggiator Mode
played .........in the order the notes were originally played
up ..............from lowest to highest
down............from highest to lowest
up+dn 1 ......normal up & down
up+dn 2 ......up & down, repeating the top and bottom notes
random........chaotic order"

So if you select "random" and hold down a bunch of notes, those notes will be played back IN RANDOM ORDER.

first thanks for your ansers. sure i read the manual

maybe you know that famous synth who is popular for his great random function. i was trying to do it with diva. doesnt work.

i will try it again. maybe i´ve done it wrong because i just play one note. and not pushing some of them. on other synths it works with just one note.

and by the way i´m not really a beginner normally i know how a arp works but i really get that sound in diva. that was the reason why i ask that question here.

i´m not at home right now i´ll tried it with the demo here. looks like you where right and the problem was because i was playing just one note. but i will try it again later when i´m home. thanks again
