This is actually not the first time the "all" bundle is priced that low. They had it on sale for $60 not that long ago. Back then I asked the same question and people were not particularly enthusiastic about it.Nobdi wrote:I've got a "special offer" from Diginoiz for their "All in one" bundle - everything they got for $50,- .

I was logging in to ask just this exact question.
Here's their sales page for it: http://diginoiz.com/series/music-loops-bundle/
That's 140 packs - 65 packs from the first deal, so that's still 75 packs. 49.75 euro is $55.70 dollars.
55.70 / 75 = $0.74 per pack.
Pretty low price actually. Not as low as the first deal, but still... If there's anything good in there is the real question. And if I'll ever use them. I actually never ask myself if I'll ever use it before I buy because the answer is usually no! lol. But I still buy it anyway.
Any more in depth thoughts on those remaining 75 packs? There's gotta be something good in there!

Exactly, the reason this shit is so cheap is because they're selling you a truck load of turd and you see a bargain lol

I did buy the $10 pack of 65 ginormous downloads. That's fifteen cents a pack, but that's not how I assigned value. There were about 10 packs of content, mostly vocals, that I didn't mind paying $1 for, the rest I viewed as free. $5 to $10 every now and again is my limit on these kinds of samples, there's only so much you can use so I'm not impacted by "omg, look how much value you get."Rational wrote:mgw38 wrote:This is actually not the first time the "all" bundle is priced that low. This is why I'll NEVER belong to any of these sample pack memberships that seem to be all the rage these days. I have at least a terabyte of this kind of sample content, maybe two. I value, far more, the time it takes to waddle through all that crap than I do the content itself. I'm still using content that I purchased in the 90s from before Sony purchased Acid.
The only time that I'm willing to spend more is when I have a very specific need and I go searching for exactly the sample pack that fits that need. The chance of that specific need being met by one of these megadeals is really rather low. Even the vocals in this pack largely go the other direction "Oh, that's kind of cool, I'll write a track featuring that."

I have never really used them in any production but I like to play with them. They are fun, a bit like audio toys. There is a reasonable amount of construction kits (between 8 and 20) in every pack. They are good quality and nicely put together but they are restricted as construction kits tend to be. I don't regret buying them although their utility is limited. I think I got two of them for free and paid like 20$ a piece for the other two at one of the IK Multimedia sales last year. If you like Sampletank construction kits, this is something you might want to look into. Just don't expect too much. IK Multimedia has some audio demos which give an idea about the type of kits that are in there.rockhopper wrote:Don't know how good they are, but Guitar Center Online has 4 SampleTank expansions on sale for 14.99 each.
Nanotube, Power Up, NRG, and The Grid. If you have any thoughts, please add in the discussion forum.

I don't know if anyone's noticed but Plugin Alliance is no longer allowing multi cart discounts for their $9 plugins. I suppose it was good while it lasted.

I have an email from them saying that the price is good until June 14th. However, it's now much more clear why they sold the 65 packs for $10. It was a loss leader to get the completists to give them another $50. I'm sure that it will work for a lot of people, but I'm cheap, thanks for the loss leader.jacqueslacouth wrote:Link has it listed at 199 Euros nowghettosynth wrote:I did buy the $10 pack of 65 ginormous downloads. Ok, as long as I'm poopooing plugins, what's up with the Nugen audio stuff? I haven't picked up Stereoizer Elements yet and I'm not sure if I'll bother. I forked over $10 for Monofilter Elements some time back and I'm not exactly impressed with it, in fact, I'd rather have my $10 back to buy some McNuggets. I thought Plugin Alliance's soundgoodizer plugins were on the expensive side, Nugen makes them look like dime store plugins.

Nope! It can sound really harsh - keep it away from your master bus.. but can be good to bring life to boring synth sound, but then again there are some fine choices around in a similar price range (SDRR, Omega A/N/458A) so don't lose sleep if you pass on it.ghettosynth wrote: As with my previous comments re:Waves Aural Exciter, am I crazy?

Sorry to return to the Komplete topic but need help
for someone to check my figures.
Let me see if I have this right:
2017
K2 to K11 $300
K2 to K11 June 2017 sale $200
K11 to K11U $400
K11 to K11U June 2017 sale $300
2018?
K11 to K12 $300
K11 to K12 $200 June 2018 sale?
K11 to K12U $400
K11 to K12U $300 June 2018 sale?
K11U to K12U $400
K11U to K12U $300 June 2018 sale?
I am on K11 and will likely wait for K12U release to upgrade.
If the upgrade does not look great I just may go from the current K11 to K12
and wait the summer sale to get K12U
Makes sense?
Looking for the cheapest way but will consider an economical way to do this.
Or best to get K11U now? Trying to stay withing my budgetary constraints.

Not concerning the AE plugin but the Waves Central: AGAIN a new version and need to update all my 82 Waves plugind, just because will install the Aural Exciter. I think this was the 3rd Waves Central version this spring/summer.MogwaiBoy wrote:Nope! I'm used to the Waves policy but this is stupid, too much - takes time, and for those who may use the jBridged plugin versions besides the 64 bit Waves plugins, may cause a lot of extra work.
Waves, find some other way than forcing the total update of every single plugin after some minor change somewhere.

I am in absolute horror is I received my first email telling me my wup on a waves item is expiring in two weeks. I went to the site and found the cost to upgrade all my wave stuff for one year is $450. OMFG! wtf???? That's insane. And if wup is expired you can't transfer license??? They say theres a $300 max but mine says $448 or something I don't understand.
