A technical and inside question. Receptor is build as a computer and for that reason brings two noise sources to add to the studio. The cpu fan and the power source fan.

We were extremely careful about noise. Receptor uses the quitest hard drive we could find, a Seagate I don't know the exact model number.Grundman wrote:A technical and inside question. We spent a lot of time researching different power supplies and we based our choice on reduced noise and heat. When we designed the case and the placement of components inside, we were very carefull to maximize air flow so that we could use low speed, quiter fans.
