If you're not happy with ABL3, I'd say the only thing left you can do, is get the real deal.
I'd never spend that much money for such a limited piece of gear though, except I'd only produce Acid for the rest of my life :help: :tu:

I bet you won't buy the uhe 303 (IF it comes at all, which I doubt). I know I wouldn't buy a uhe 303, because ABL3 is already great.
OK, now I understand when you said "I wouldn't buy a uhe 303, because ABL3 is already great" What a good product. It sound more that great, this is fantastic. I just bought it and add some Soundtoys Distortion. What a great product. My TB-3 is far behind.

Thanks for suggestion.

I agree, it is the best 303 emulation Software on the market.

ABL3 is #1 and there is absolutely no need for a U-he version.

Anyone used Transistor Bass by IL? What are your thoughts?

Perhaps it's not the best time for a 303 emulation........... :hihi:

Yes I own Transistor Bass and like it a lot. Is it the most "accurate" 303 emulation ? I don't know nor do I care. It sounds great and that's all I care about. Yes it's locked to FL Studio but that's all I'm using for synth based stuff these days so no problem here.......... :)

I think the same about ABL3. I don't really care how close it comes to the real deal. For my purposes, when I use a 303 in a song, it sounds absolutely real, because it has never been the main element, standing in front, alone, so you could (maybe) guess it's a VI.

In different words: Spending a couple grands for a real 303 is just not worth the price to me.

Christ, that's pretty alarming. I wonder if they have gone after Audiorealism and D16 as well :o

Why? AFAIR both do not use any trademarked stuff, they even name it ABL3 instead of ABL303...and the other one, Phoscyon or whatever. Thank god they cannot forbid to create the sound...

Question for the ABL3 users here -- what distortion plugin are you using with it for the classic squelchy 303 sounds? It strikes me that the distortion is even more important in determining the timbre of classic 'acid' sounds, etc, than the synth itself...

thanks,
-M

The story says intellectual property - that is not necessarily the name?
