Btw, does Moog not mind your copying their user interface like that?
I suppose Roland would already have sued you, they are very protective of their designs

Ok, a quick work-in-progress status update:
The mono-mode retrig@legato issue was due to a feature that was one of the latest to be introduced before launch, and that had a conflict with the previously solid behaviour. It will be fixed and will be solid again.
Next update will include the *basis* for the GUI resizing option (available further).
And other minor graphics glitches and micro issues will be fixed too.

Please forgive my ignorance but can someone tell me how to browse user presets besides using the unacceptable unhandy LOAD button (which apparently loads only one preset a time).
As it is now, when I load an own preset using the LOAD button, next click on one of the left/right buttons brings me back to the factory bank I used before instead of staying in the folder with my own presets (as I would have imagined).
So I simply want to browse my own presets using the left/right buttons.
BTW I did not manage that my own presets appear in the Preset-Menu either.
I’m using V305 on a mac.
Thanks & regards
Rob

I don't think there is a browser as such, I like the instrument categories in the factory preset menu.
Loading and saving one's own patches is similar to the way I do it on Sylenth1. A separate folder for each instrument categories, folders which you can put into the synths default open/save location.
It does not allow you to preview (or rather prelisten to
) sounds while browsing, unlike in Hive for instance.
What I wonder is why there is a separate panel B. It only seems to add a slim top panel to panel A, and that into a space that is already there and empty on panel A. So why not eliminate panel A, and rename B->A and C->B, so that you only have two panels?

Exactly, the presets menu and arrows are reserved for the factory and for official expansions (free and commercial ones) presets. Maybe I'll go for a special "User" folder or something else in the future. By the way the LOAD button has "memory" and so you can select your presets from the last folder you open.

I was demoing again yesterday and didn't have the presets installed...which was a good thing as it gave me an opportunity to work my way around the synth.
Love the sound!
I installed the presets later and was impressed all over again by how good Little One sounds, and the amount of good patches included.
On the buy list now. Just have to swing my Komplete update as well.

Thanks for replying. LOADing own presets one by one can't be the best option - hope you can implement arrow buttons for browsing user presets .. thanks !xhunaudio wrote:Exactly, the presets menu and arrows are reserved for the factory and for official expansions (free and commercial ones) presets. About the User Interface, looong time ago (at the beginning of everything), in two distinct occasions Moog Music Inc. had been so comprehensive to let me publish a software which resemble the look of a product of them (today discontinued).

Thanks to the coop with JRR I was able to jump in.
I like the basic sounds, very nice.
My request in that regard would be something that makes the heights less harsh, more creamy
(I mean naturally without the usual suspects).
Could it be the user area doesn`t have a logout ?
A security issue for users if so.

Hi Omkar,
thank you for your support,
if I understood fine, to make high frequencies to sound more "mellow", just set the filter cutoff accordingly (how much is a matter of tastes) and set the filter "keyboard amount" to zero (all-left).
No risks with logout
...But it is always better not to talk about sensitive matters in public forums, facebook posts etc... please
Anyway, as with any other website / case, it is always recommended to use the old "common sense" as with anything else, so keeping personal data private, etc.

Hi Bruno, that`s a usual suspect ...xhunaudio wrote: if I understood fine, to make high frequencies to sound more "mellow", just set the filter cutoff accordingly (how much is a matter of tastes) and set the filter "keyboard amount" to zero (all-left).
but I must admit I do not know enough about vsti design to adress exactly what I mean.
In case I want to use upper frequencies I have to shape it to be less ear piercing.
That`s my feedback I am able to give.
I wasn`t sure if I missed a logout button somewhere.xhunaudio wrote: No risks with logout![]()
About the risk:
I recommend users to clean the browser cache after moving from Xhun,
let`s take it like that.
All in all I`m glad to have a Little One in my arsenal.

Hi Bruno,
FYI: in Propellerhead's Reason 9.5 there is an issue that prevents access
to the Voice Allocation and Step Sequencer pages. The UI refresh
(or something) sets the plugin back to the initial tab before you can
edit anything.
You can work around it by setting up a control surface to control
the tabs, but its a bit ungainly.
Anyway, this is happening for me with the latest builds (all round)
under Windows 64 bit (win 8.1)
Thanks and Cheers!

yes, if I understood fine it is the correct behaviour. At host reset, LittleOne switch back to its first section "A", but it is only a "GUI change". No parameters are affected. The host reset occurs when you press play on the transport bar for example. If you press play on the transport and then select the parameters and buttons/knobs on LittleOne (in this case the Section buttons), you are able to edit them and change their value.

Hi,
I just updated LittleOne to version 3.0.8, this time addressing some issues and bringing some improvements on the DSP side (most important), on the GUI side (minor glitches) and on the presets formats compatibility.
Changes in LittleOne version 3.0.8:
# Under certain circumstances, the note retrig was not correctly performed. Now this is FIXED.
# Sometimes some minor graphic glitches occurred. Now this is FIXED.
# The MIDI Control Change assignment for the Modulation Amount parameter has been changed from CC#06 to CC#14, to avoid any possible conflict with the MIDI RPN/NRPN implementation used by some Hosts.
# Improved compatibility when converting presets from unofficial formats (example : Steinberg's ".fxp" file format) into LittleOne native ".littleonepreset" file format.
