Good morning!

I noticed that version 2.8.8 of SynthMaster has appeared in the user area today. Has anyone installed it yet? I will take the plunge and let you know.

Bill, I just donwloaded it and messed a tiny bit with the stand alone and there's no update text file, but from a quick glance, there are now number of new skins including ones that are now 120 and 140% bigger! That already is great and there are a number of gloabl scales you can load also.There also might be more presets added though I can't say that with any certainty. Just appears to be the case.

Thanks for your response RockMachine! I like the re-sizeable GUI skins, and I'm sure many others will also. A certain other synth just released an update with an enlargeable GUI as well by popular demand (its name begins with "S", and its developers' initials are SD), so I guess some users like larger interfaces!

In the meanwhile 2.8.9 seems to be out already, even though still with some issues.... there's another thread on KVR about it.

Downloaded 2.8.9 guys, and man there seems to tons of problems with some of the skins. For instance, of the blue oversized ones, there are 2 listings of the 120% size, when you try loading oversized orange, it defaults to the standard size, another one only has part of the GUI. be

Yes, I noticed that too.

Great with the new oversizes though - I'm sure it soon will be sorted out. Until then, I use 140% default w/o problems.

How is everyone even getting to try 2.8.9 when the zip file is corrupt??? I've downloaded it on 3 different browsers and used different RAR programs and the file is corrupt in every one.

Worked fine for me when I downloaded it two days ago. I used 7-Zip.
I had a different problem with 2.8.8 but version 2.8.9 solved it.
