As you know already since you posted right after.

It's pretty obvious priority is to get a beta out internally then public. It doesn't sound to me like sysex has enough importance for v1.0, but it is likely to show up at a later date.

sysex is one of the best ways to fine tune parameter ranges on virtual emulations.

I've recently discovered the Prophet 5 patches bank in my Nord Lead 2, part of the default sound bank, and there are some really gorgeous sounds in there. I think the Nord Lead 2 has the default Prophet 5 patches as part of its own default bank, in any case they are amazing and can't wait to get my hands on a recreation from uhe. I hope a beta is released soon :D

Will repro-5 have cc74 modulation out of the gate for mpe control? I read somewhere that that was going to come eventually for other u-he synths, so I wonder if you guys have included it with repro as it was developed. Would definitely entice me. :)

As a linnstrument user I give this a big +1 (as well as global 2 octave pitch bend)
X32 Desk, i9 PC, S88MK3, S1, BWS, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6 Pro3, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone II, OP1-F, OPXY, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I appreciate Urs willingness to address this. Really, he should not have to, but greater flexibility is beneficial since various controllers and hosts don't allow easy remapping.

Fortunately for me, using the Linnstrument with Logic, I don't need it. Linnstrument can output any CC for Timbre. I'm using CC1. All the u-he synths are already fully functional with Linnstrument and Logic.

In that case you can use a plugin to do your remapping. For example, pizmidi will do.

So then it does not really matter if RePro-5 gets CC74?

Post

Not really.
