If there is - and I would surely like it also - please classify the sounds. The main drawback with Performer is that when you look for lead sound, you can't focus on the leads only. The sounds themselves are superb, but the access is hindered.

There's a new preset browser in the works for U-he synths. It'll take some time to make it's way to Diva, but it sounds like that particular issue will be resolved.mevla wrote:If there is - and I would surely like it also - please classify the sounds. Mind you, I have absolutely nothing against simple folders. Works great.
Will soundset designers need to support explicitly the new browser when desinging soundsets ?

I've personally never ever had any problems with finding my presets. Then again, I'm very organized and make specific folders for each bank and sound I need

If presets are tagged, they can be filtered with tags. If presets are untagged, they show up as usual - as long as no tag filter is applied. Untagged presets cannot be filtered by tag, but they can still be found by text searching - as long as no tag filter is active.
There's nothing really that has to be "supported" by soundset designers. They either tag their works, or they don't. If designers with existing untagged soundsets wish to now tag and reissue them, there will be no different format or other weird transition. Just tag and (re-) publish, that's it.
The tags and search will be there to use, but feel free to ignore if you don't want to use them.
