Hi - A friend and I were talking about getting together to talk about mixing and recording. He's got Protools on his set up (I have Cubase), and more to the point, no Melda.
Is it possible to take my Melda plugs from my rig and bring them over to his, and use them there? Then when I come home I'd take them back and put them on my machine. It's only one machine at a time, so I figure it would be OK from that point of view, but is it allowed?
Thanks much -
Can my Melda plugs only be used on my machine?

Hi there, sure, just activate them there and when you are finished deactivate - Settings / Deactivate.

So, I don't need to Deactivate on my system before I take it there?
I'll check back here for step-by-step nervous I go. Of course he can always do demos also!

Exactly
. You can technically activate on any number of machines at the same time, but only you can operate them. In your case it doesn't matter, but legally you cannot leave the licences on a machine someone else will be using.
