NI karbon soft-synth bundled on CM cover disc a year ago

Has anybody loaded and successfully used the Carbon (or is it Karbon) synth from NI that came bundled on the Future Music cover CD about a year ago?

I didn't bother with it when I found out how bad the latency was with my old sound card drivers.

Now, I'm using KX drivers with my SBLive card and having lots of fun just playing all of these free soft synths that are out there, through Tracktion.

But I can't get this one to work. It will give the occasional burble of sound - it gets midi data (indicated on the little midi connector lighting up), but no sound 99% of the time, and CPU usage is reporting around 10-20%.

Any clues? I don't see it listed on the incompatibiilty thread (at least the search function on the forum didn't pop it up).

Worked ok here, but never saved the preset, so in effect was no good. I wiped it.
