No thanks.
Sylenth1 was only 32bit when it came out and it was 139€ (still is), and the rest is history.
Viper can do tons more than Sylenth1 and its "only" 89€. Man people are spoiled these days...
Never bought it, so your comparison is moot.

Spoiled for choice, yes, and i choose not to buy software that is 32bit only. Maybe up your game and at the very least double your customer base.
Go make a synth yourself since you think you could do a better job.

Point to where i said that please.
So you can't do it huh, thats what I thought, you act like Adam owes you a 64bit version. If you don't like that, don't get it. Pretty simple. But don't go around telling people to "up their game" unless you can do a better job. To be quite frank, his point is not moot, considering sylenth is one of the most used and one of the most popular vsti synths , way before it ever became 64bit.

As i thought, you cant point it out as i didnt say it. Nor did i say he owes me anything. Try learning to read before throwing your toys out of the pram, there's a good boy.

Pyro at this point with these comments from him i think our best bet is that we both mute him? What you say? Otherwise we risk being entangled in troll arguing over something completely irrelevant.

edit: yep i muted him and this thread looks instantly better. Simply you don't want to read anything from people like these are. These are same folks which vote for Trump and think earth is flat. Oh yea and they buy camera based on how much megapixel is written on a box. Avoid.

On topic: Adam can you give any brief release date?

Sounds good. This sometimes polished but also raw sound, typical for the Virus. From Acid to Trance plucks and pads.
Without doubt, Adam did a great job with studying the Virus and learning Flowstone to built this synth.

jó munka, Adam ;)

Why do people insist on throwing political snark into conversations that have nothing to do with politics?
Seems symptomatic to unhealthy obsession.
Is there a forum policy regarding injecting political propaganda into non-political discussions?
I seriously doubt one's political leanings have any significant correlation with preferring new VSTis that have 64-bit support over ones that are only 32-bit.
Also a strong contingent of the "flat-Earth" argument is based on religious belief. So is a music themed forum the proper place to be discussing aspects of religion?
Seems like that there are a multitude of forums to discuss politics and/or religion.
Why do they need to be injected here?
Win10 x64, Reaper 6.XX x64, i5-3330, 8gb ram, GTX-970, UC-33, Panorama P4, Wharfedale Diamond 8.2 and JVC HA-RX700

I am not debating flat earth and politics let alone religion - you are. Can you please go on topic? I apologize if my metaphor wasn't exactly right up your alley. You can always mute me if that will help you to go on topic then please do so.

Thank you.

Ok, everyone who needs 64 bit plugins also believes that Earth is flat because he or she is Hitler. Now that we have fulfilled the Godwins law I think we can go back to Viper.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

LOL

Agreed. Now does anyone know any ETA. How close it is? What about soundbanks? I don't believe TI soundpatches migrated in to Viper are "legal" thing or am i wrong?

Post

For example...I want to run this synth in S1 Pro 64bit...how can I do that?

Post

Install JBridge, run JBridge, ask it to scan 32 bit Viper folder, then to create a new "X" Viper 64 bit folder located in your regular VST Plugin folder, done.

All my 32 bit plugins run perfectly in Cubase 9 bridged this way. Of course I prefer unbridged 64 bit plugins, but if Viper is 32 bit, I can live with it. JP6K is 32 bit only and I use it all the time.

Viper seems insanely good. If this can speed up things, go for 32 bit for the release, you can work on a 64 bit version next !

Post

Haha this whole thread is like... build a bridge and get over it... hahahaha

Spot on there.

I sense some defensive flat earthers here ;)

We also know that the earth is hollow inside, and another civilization lives there and it has a sun at the center of the earth, thats where they get their energy from :D anyway, I am doing the final touches, my instinct say it should be out at the end of august(ish).
