Release date for Zebra 2.8?

Any idea on a release date for Zebra 2.8?

Z2.8 beta as soon as new preset browser is mature enough

Being that the Preset Browser is holding up RePro-5 and but we know they're chugging through the bugs, sounds like it should be soon. And by soon, I mean within the next few weeks.

It's technically the Zebra 3 thread that was started like 5 years ago, but there's some info about Zebra 2.8 in there too. It's insanely long, but the newer pages cover the more recent developments.

It wasn't... it was just that it became like a running gag to respond to feature requests with "maybe in Zebra 3 then". Until one day some people said they'd hold off buying Zebra 2 because they thought Zebra 3 was "coming soon". So I posted a thread saying "you're actually better off buying Zebra 2 now because Zebra 3 is going to be cheaper that way and it is not coming soon anyway".
