Deleting time AND TEMPO from an edit?

I have tempo mapped a song that was recorded without a click track and now want to delete a section of it. To do this I used the key command: 'Delete marked region of selected clips, and move up selected'. However the tempo track does not move with clips. i.e. the tempo information between the in/out markers does not get deleted. Is there a way to do this? Loving the work flow in waveform but this is killing me.

You mark the start and end of the tempo section you want to remove with the In and Out markers (keyboard shortcuts I and O)
Then you click the tempo line to highlight THE ENTIRE TEMPO LINE ITSELF (not just one point), and you'll see an option in the menu down below for "Delete points in the marked region and close the gap"
