Makes sense as Ive only spent about $110 since 2015Temptin wrote:VariKusBrainZ wrote:Plugin Alliance have another sale and for the first time I got a $50 voucher, I suspect possibly due the VAT happenings.

The voucher is based on the literal value of the plugins in your account, not what you paid for them.
I have gradually gotten bigger vouchers as I bought more and more plugins. First $25, then $35, now $50.

REDD was the first Abbey Road plugin, I guess they put all their marketing efforts into that. I don't have the TG12345 but it's obviously got a lot more going on feature-wise. If it's the same sound as the REDD only with the extra features, I'd say that's the one to get. I'd like to get the whole Abbey Road Collection eventually.Temptin wrote:That's great to hear! What are your feelings about the followup console, Waves EMI TG12345? I noticed that one is on sale too, for $69 so it's less of a no-brainer.
I noticed REDD has like 15 pro engineer endorsements. TG12345 has one.

Ahh that makes sense. And nope, REDD is tube-based, whereas the TG12345 is solid state and much cleaner. So I think I'll skip the TG.Uncle E wrote:REDD was the first Abbey Road plugin, I guess they put all their marketing efforts into that. Seriously! I think the way to do it is buy the individual plugins for $29 each and then upgrade to the full bundle instead of paying WUP.Ryan99 wrote:Eric, just add it to your cart with the Group code

But then again - you never know, there may be causal relation between the massive sale by the PA right now, and the recent incident. Anyway, I wellcome all the quality plugin offers, and this is the kind of move, much fruitful than just a dry "accountant letter".Harry_HH wrote:I doubt that's the reason - or have you paid your after-VATs already?VariKusBrainZ wrote:Plugin Alliance have another sale and for the first time I got a $50 voucher, I suspect possibly due the VAT happenings.

Anybody else giving away their $50 voucher, I am intersted in upgrading to Sandman Pro.
Just sayin'

Okay, a friend who always got $25 vouchers every month was given $50 this month despite not having bought any products in months (not even for free with the vouchers). So it's definitely been raised this month. Perhaps minimum voucher was set to $50 to compensate for the VAT fiasco.Harry_HH wrote:But then again - you never know, there may be causal relation between the massive sale by the PA right now, and the recent incident. Would be interesting to learn if everyone who had received the email about getting an extra invoice also received this discount bump up and if it will continue into the future.
And will we get the extra invoice for VAT?
Great PR move, very proactive

I got a $50 voucher too - most of the plugins I own with them have been bought at heavy discounts - I've probably spent $50 total with them. Now trying to figure out whether to get dent (already have indent) or wait for the GR8 and the delay plugin starting on the 14th.
Very tempted by Iris 2 for $49, but I suspect it would be wasted on me.

This is how I've been doing it. The King's mic's were first to go on sale cheap, so I got those. Then I got Redd when it got down to around $25. Still waiting for the rest though....Uncle E wrote:Seriously! And really? I just want the Abby Road Plates.
