Need Keyboard Shortcut for"delete any part of clips that overlap the selected clip

I really need a keyboard shortcut for "delete any part of clips that overlap the selected clips". I know I can go to the bottom of the control panel, open the delete menu and find the option but this is very long winded for something that I need to do constantly.
Any help with this would be really, truly, greatly appreciated because it would speed up my work flow no end. Thank-you:)
