Hello Everyone

Very pleased with Mulab and learning for the first time, question for sampled sounds or drum kits that are in wave format how do you save them that way you can use them on another machine like a Desktop or Laptop computer PC?? on the original machine my sounds are playable. I have created and organized my sounds and then save them as save as mux extension but when launching these sounds on another machine seems like wave files or sounds are missing like trying to locate,are there some steps I'm missing when saving my custom presets?? Next is about the sequencer, is this normal when playing live and you want to hear what you just played you have to stop recording and press play?? I like my sequence to continue looping what I just recorded, I do record but once I record I have to press play and then it loops fine next sound I play live I have to stop and then press play to hear my next live instrument also playing the same instrument give me the option to merge which is fine, please anyone can help me thank you so much cheers!!

Samples:
- If you use Mulab/MUX on more than one computers, try to keep the same files structure in the Mulab User folder, like all samples are in a User/Library/Samples folder. Mulab finds files relative to the User and App folders. If you have to "find" them on a new system, save after finding. Otherwise you need to "find" them next time again.
- Also, there is an Embed function in the samplers options menu. If you activate this, all samples will be saved with the patch. These will find the samples because they are part if it.

Sequence recording:
You are correct. Mulab does not play looped recordings until recording stopped and played again.

Hi there AndreasD
could you explain where I can find such option "Embed function" I'm using MuLab 7 " If you use Mulab/MUX on more than one computers, try to keep the same files structure in the Mulab User folder, like all samples are in a User/Library/Samples folder. Mulab finds files relative to the User and App folders. If you have to "find" them on a new system, save after finding. Otherwise you need to "find" them next time again.

AndreaD sorry to be a pain just to show you how I'm accomplishing my saving of my presets unless am doing it wrong please explain in detail I have been googling youtubing and cant find any explanation but someone did have some instruction and I followed just about that guide...--->

This is How am creating my custom presets--->

Left Column Press plus sign-->Choose Instrument--->
expand-> devices..>expand->Instruments..>choose MuSampla or MultiSampla ---> I choose Multi for Drum kits-->Double click-->

I get Multi-Sampla Front Panel ->double click inside the MultiSampler Window (none)--> I get the piano layout I go to my explorer where my sample drums are located and I simply copy and paste and can now arrange and organize my samples and added effects below in the control Panel. when I'm finished I go to the (Save As Tab) located in the center top (New File) and save into a path. question where in what folder should I be saving them???

That is how I been doing it unless i have it wrong please provide with the correct procedure thank you so much.

This is what I found out in the net--->

Building your own multisample drumset is quite easy:

Here is a brief tutorial:

-> New Session da
-> Insert a MultiSampla in Rack 1, slot 1
-> Open the multisample editor, it's empty at this point
-> Drag-drop your samples from your system browser onto the relevant keys.
-> Double-click a zone to edit its details

When you have completed your drumkit, at the top of the red MultiSample editor you have a Save As button which will save this MultiSampla patch into the user library (by default that is in Mulab/User/Library).

Sorry, I was testing with the MuSampla not the Multi Sampler.
In the Multi-Sampler the "embed" not available for the full set, but for each single sample.

If you use the MuDrum it's similar per sample

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Yes Sir I found it while you were away I hope this will help!!! Thank you AndreaD. I guess according to some of the Tutorials I found on the forum and outside I guess I have it correct.. one very last question do the custom samples need to go into the folders of Mulab directory folders like under users library??that way I can reside them to another machine, unless this embed will do the trick...Thank you Again!!

Hello AndreaD it Work wopeeee!!! :) I'm extremely happy yes no need to carry custom samples as you mentioned once you enable embedded and save all is well and can carry my usb thumb drive anywhere I like or another machine but ensuring that the structure is in the correct path thank you so so much I guess we can have others read this post for beginners like me cheers!! Mate!! :clap: :clap: :clap:
