Hello,

Mulab crash after a few seconds of use Synth1 Ver 1.13 (http://www.geocities.jp/daichi1969/softsynth/ (http://www.geocities.jp/daichi1969/softsynth/)). Mulab is in version 7.4.11 (demo version)

Is there something to do because I want to buy mulab and use synth1.

Regards,

Post

I've just checked,no crash here on Windows, what OS do you use?

Post

I can second keekoon's problem. I am using MuLab 7.4.11 (x64) on Win 10 (x64) with the Synth1 1.13 beta 3 VST.
It crashed only seconds after it's contol panel pops up. Maybe it doesn't work because the PLUGIN is in beta stage??

Note that MuLab does not support VST 3 plugins, only VST 2.4. Maybe the issue is related to that aspect? I remember having used Synth1 in MuLab successfully.

Post

It seems that it is a 2.4 VST (http://www.kvraudio.com/news/ichiro-tod ... eta7-26319).

It doesn't matter, there are other vst and the mulab synths are very good

@Taifunk : Windows 10 (x64)

Post

I'm getting the crash as well when I use it in 64 bit (win 10)

In Mulab 32 bit (also win 10) it seems to work.
Sound C loud
Band C amp
Clicks and pops is all I get

Win 10 used here so just tried Synth1 and , yes it crashed latest MuLab. I'd swear its worked with MuLab and win 10 before here :?:

It's looking very system-specific... Does Synth1 poke around the user's system for anything unusual? Dual monitor displays, network connection, stuff like that?

Post

All it does afaik is use the AppData folder for settings and preset folders.

Deleted: obsolet

Reopened as I downloaded Synth1 64 and have crashes.

I sent all the error info to Jo.
On first glance, the issue is with Synth1:
Faulting application name: MuLab.exe, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x593e60ac
Faulting module name: Synth1 VST64.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x53bd6743
