Problems with plug-ins.....No signal processing

Hello All,
Ill start by saying that I am a complete virgin noobee to the world of computer recording,so please bare with my ignorance...I downloaded the free version of MuTools the other day, (I plan on purchasing the full version in a week or so).I purchased Pod Farm 2.5, downloaded it and extracted it to the appropriate location. Uploaded it to Mutools via the "Manage VST Plugins" Thingy.....All good so far....Stuck the pod farm in a rack, selected a few pre sets to try out. Selected new audio track etc etc, AND!!!!!! nothing. The sound coming out is dry and unprocessed. No amp sim, FX, ETC ETC.....What the hell am I doing wrong? Any and all help will be very much appreciated.

You haven't described your signal routing set up.

A track is not the same thing as a rack. Racks are containers for instruments and effects. Tracks are containers for various source signals (events, audio, automation).

If you create a new audio track, it will create a new rack and route its audio output to that rack.

So, if you already had a "Rack A", then created track B routed to "Rack B", then anything in "Rack A" will have no impact on the signals output from track B.

O.K....This is what im doing.....New Track.....Basic synth rack appears on left...I remove the synth and add pod farm...Look at Mux, and it shows Pod farm going to the Master Rack....Nothing......

What instrument are you feeding into the pod farm efx, vst or real external instrument (such as guitar)?

OK, just check the following...

Pop open the track recorder settings - the diagonal arrow button on the track header. You'll see a "Record Arm" and a "Monitor" setting (those are the other two buttons on the track header), along with the detailed settings. Confirm the detailed settings are correct, then close the panel.

Next, right-click the track header, select "Choose Target Module" and double check your intended Rack is targeted (the Rack itself, not the content).

Now, I think it could be the "Monitor" button in the track header that needs addressing but, unfortunately, it appears undocumented. I'm going to guess: red - only hear what you're playing when recording; green - always hear what you're playing; off - never hear what you're playing. Try setting it to green.

Of course, it could be nothing to do with any of the above...
