Hello, I have a few questions.
1.If I set up MAGC with speed "400ms", and Psycho-Acoustic Prefiltering "ON", does this calculate the loudness in the same way as AGCs in other Melda plugins do?
2.About MAutoVolume.
Does this plugin use Psycho-Acoutic Prefiltering?
And with the speed knob and the speed mode, I can change the RMS time for loudness calculation, is this correct?

Appletwist, this is a REALLY offtopic thing!
Anyways
1. Not really, I think AGC window usually used is 3 seconds. 400ms far too quick.
2. Yes it does, but not the same one as MDynamics uses. And yes, that's what speed does.

And sorry, I just posted in the wrong thread accidentally.
As for MTransient, I've been using it and I love it.

Have you tried the transient/tonal crossover yet?
I much prefer it to using MTransient. Most plugins have multiband and most have a simple gain, so you can use them as a simple transient FX, or you can also add other FX the the attack/release stages, like saturation etc.
It works very well with strong FX like reverb for example where sometimes the transient can be softened pushing the sound back in the mix. By keeping the transient dry it can keep the upfront bite while still having the FX applied to the tonal part of the sound.

The Transient/Tonal crossover is really useful. Better than using MTransient lol
Also I noticed Melda can develop better phase vocoder based on this??
MHamonizer or MCharacter...These plugins can be really improved by bypassing the transient part intact with this tech.nice nicw

Actually you can already try in MXXX. Anyone tried with some reasonable success?Appletwist wrote: Also I noticed Melda can develop better phase vocoder based on this??
