On the one hand I like this import funktion for drum wavs as all my kingsize samples can be used now. On the other hand the resulting kits are small and often not really usable in my eyes. This seems to result from an unsufficient recognition and unsufficient assignment. Not MDrummers fault, its the wavs names.
Now - could I assign the samples manually? Put them in a certain folder fy hand or whatever?

Well, if the samples are not named properly, then I'm afraid you'll have to do everything manually. But if you are free to move the samples logically, you can just put say "SD" as a prefix for every snare drum etc.
I'm not actually sure if putting them into folders would work... you can try ;).

The problem is not the SD but the 1000s of percussion ... I WOULD try but I am afraid to start a mess which I cannot repair.

What naming is it using then? I mean is it possible to create such an odd naming for a sample library, that it cannot be used with the analyzer?? :o

They are not distinct. I could call them "Perc" and asign them to effect 1 or whatever but then all of them rest on the same location in MDr and the resulting kits are mainly ... strange.

Hmmm, ok, so these are not actually drums? Just something you want to layer with drums?

No. Its drum sounds.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hmmm, how do you know what is what? :D Anyways I'm afraid in this you'll just have to do that manually.
