Sounds great! Just take your time, I believe it's going to be a cool update and going to breath new life to the pluginGalbanum wrote:Well we have some definitely impressive results internally. No ETA on anything public quite yet. Aether is likely the last of our verbs to get updated as well bc it has some other things we would like to improve/enhance.

Glad to hear CPU improvements may be coming down the line
Also, Aether may not be "new", but it never ceases to amaze me with how good it sounds in a mix and how intuitive and enjoyable it is to program. It has become my favorite of the perfect storm

I just want to drop some words about the top notch support I've got the last week.
After Cubase 9 went 64-bit only I decided to re-setup my machine from scratch (the sequencer/vst setup was originally done in 2009 on Windows 7 and survived the entire upgrade path to Windows 10 without any major hickups, btw) and had a problem with using Aether in my non-admin account.
After I had put my initial support request there was a daily communication in order to nail down the issue. On every reply I've received an immediate re-reply.
Noticing this sustained support efforts is a great experience!
Thanks a lot.
Cheers,

The depth and space 2CAudio verbs create to sounds and parts in a track is, IMHO, paralleled with none. Looking forward to upgrading the rig to a more powerful cpu to accommodate more instances and hopefully, increase Cubases mix down rendering time with obsession
@Den thanks for the update. Really appreciate you sharing your work.

Aether is great, especially on small spaces and rooms.Voice303 wrote:Glad to hear CPU improvements may be coming down the line![]()

Lower CPU will be a welcomed enhancement.

I'm getting vastly different CPU load behaviors depending on where the plugin is inserted (as an insert or as a send effect, same signal going into the plugin, same preset).
I'm on OSX Sierra.
Is this known behavior? If not, what do you need from me so you can track down the cause?
Cheers

In my case its imperative... (not just "welcomed")SteveWZ wrote:Lower CPU will be a welcomed enhancement.

Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

Re CPU usage, we are well aware this is the number one request regarding Aether and B2. We've been working on it, and have some promising results internally... no ETA yet, as the nature of team dynamics and dependancies always makes predicting deadlines extremely challenging so I have learned (I think) not to make predictions for things that I am not personally 100% in control of. That said, we do have highly promising results internally. Hopefully we will be able to share them shortly.
