Hi there

long time Sylenth users here. Last v2 had zero problems but this v3 has all kind of small things all the time. However, you guys have been fixed them quite quickly. Now I have suffered on some haning notes or something. Like playing chord on lead, I stop playing but the deep bass notes keep going and playing. Sylenth meters are jumping so that I can just see the leds moving. So it keep playing, but not so loud or not so often. Sometimes this doesnt even happen, but sometimes it does. Like today. Playing with chords here, stop playing and the "uummfh" low notes keep playing like bass pad. This happens in FL Studio 11, 12 and Cubase 9 Pro.

I really dont know how to describe this problem more specifically, as this happens randomly and I dont know how to describe it better than some notes keep haning after pressing stop. I have latest Sylenth here. Just used file and check update to check it.

Thanks for the help and sorry for the unclear explanation or something

If this only happens during playing or recording with an external MIDI keyboard (controller), it is most likely a hardware problem. Try replacing your MIDI controllers USB cable.

Yes, try disconnecting any external midi devices. Most like something in your setup is sending midi data to Sylenth1.

If the problem still occurs after that, please send a demo project (starting from an empty project with just 1 instance of Sylenth1) that demonstrates the problem.

No, I didnt record using my MIDI keyboard. I was drawing notes in piano roll. This happened me today many times, but now I try to reproduce it, I can't reproduce it. Like I said, this happens totally randomly. Weird.

Isn't that weid that I am playing like 4 note chords, and then hit the stop and the lowest note is the one that keep playing? Its always the lowest note. Every single time. And it is like half or more of the normal volume. Just enough to active Sylenth led's. It really acting like the there is some note hanging.

What's even weirder is that nobody is having hanging notes except for you ;)

Did you already disconnect all your external MIDI devices like I suggested (it doesn't matter if you record with a midi keyboard or not)?

Also, are you using the same bitversions of FL STudio and Sylenth1? (both 32 or both 64 bit?). Using the bitbridge can cause all sorts of problems, including hanging notes.

Recording MIDI in FL has a tendency to results in weird hanging notes with VST's in general, at least in my experience.

So, has this been resolved?

I remember having similar issues a while back, but I don't think it had anything to do with Sylenth1.

I remember that for some reason there were actually two note bars instead of one, one much lower than the other. No idea where the lower one came from, but I only noticed it after scrolling way down in the Midi editor. Since Sylenth1 doesn't enter stuff in the DAW's Midi editor, it must have been something else, maybe my keyboard or the DAW itself.
