That is important information. Are you sure about Monofonik though? The website says that Pure Sine is included but I could not find anything with respect to Monofonik.DrumAddict wrote:Gamma-UT wrote: Pure Synth Platinum already contains Pure Sine and Monofonik .
i have no idea why the made that deal separately , that people think that the retail price are that high and now 87 percent reduced ?

I'm using SDRR. But there is a free one, IVGI, if you find you don't like it, then there's no need to get SDRR. If you're happy with the Omega, no need to go further.systmu wrote:so you're talking about SDDR right though? I am not an expert with this stuff but it would be amazing to get a clariphonic sound out of just a parametric eq. I'd have to get both and mess with them.
I've had a go at comparing Clariphonic against Nova - with everything off and running white noise it appears to be a subtle smiley face EQ in series (a really gentle 0.25dB shelf at 20kHz+, flattening out around 1kHz, small shelf below 100Hz) with the main focus and clarity boosts operating in parallel. The switches widen/narrow the filters (which are pretty wide). Focus winds up looking a lot like a tilt EQ with a hump around 2.5k. Clarity then opens up the top end. I've got them close but I find there is a perceptible difference, though pretty small – it's doing something around the low mids that is subtle but not straightforward to capture (at least doing a quick test like this).
Image is Nova against Clariphonic with Focus at 8, Clarity 0, Lift, Tight, Sheen and Silk.

It does not seem to work for me. Do we need to do anything special to get one of the free titles? After trying a few different Cinematic titles, I've tried to add Cyberstorm, but it does not add it for but the current sale price of$41.99.Numanoid wrote:Rather good Zero- G "BOGOF" deal this weekend
Buy any of their Cinematic titles:
https://zero-g.co.uk/collections/cinematic-titles
And add Cyberstorm, Haunted Ground or Maximum Force in addition for free.
As prices of the Cinematic titles start at $42, two products can be had for $21 each
TIA!

Damnit. I'm trying to talk myself out of the preamps. While I do really like the sound of the 458a, too, I probably have similar saturation capabilities in other plugins already in possession. It seems like every company markets their products as, "I never like tube saturation plugins, except...for THIS one. Finally! A plugin that sounds like a tube!"systmu wrote:Nice Looks like they fixed the problem with 458A purchase - Bought woot! Thanks!
TBH, wave arts tube saturator was the first one that I heard that actually sounds like a tube. When it comes to saturation plugins I think the more parameters and controls, the better. The omegas are almost absurdly simple by comparison.
Hey, what do you know? I just talked myself out of it.

What plugins are you using for precisely controlling harmonics?Gamma-UT wrote:I've just gravitated to things that provide more precise control over harmonics, say, and away from soundgooderisers.

Airwindows Pafnuty - Chebyshev waveshaper, goes all the way to 11 (13 in fact)
Melda MSaturator(MB) - 2nd through 5th, a good workhorse.
Klanghelm SDRR
Voxengo's Shinechilla - crazy CPU but can do crazy things. It's more a sound design tool than a regular saturator as you can get feedback-like effects that you can isolate to a narrow band.

Prices in US dollars.
Customers in European Union countries will have VAT tax added at their local VAT rate.
Discount applied at checkout
I tried to add ARC and Cyberstorm to my basket, but at checkout there was no discount added, so it seems their offer doesn't work properly, it is supposed to last until Monday

Thank you, I will try those out. What do you think of MeldaProduction MPolySaturator?Gamma-UT wrote:Airwindows Pafnuty - Chebyshev waveshaper, goes all the way to 11 (13 in fact)

To be honest, I haven't spent much quality time with it. It's a bit daft as I got the TotalBundle ages ago. The bundle is expanding faster than I can keep up with it.Uncle E wrote:Thank you, I will try those out. What do you think of MeldaProduction MPolySaturator?

Another option for Chebyshev is the Soundhack one. I think it's in the free bundle. I find it a bit more rough and ready than the Airwindows one but I'm not sure you can get Pafnuty at the moment. It hasn't resurfaced in VST/PC form following Chris's move to his Patreon funding model.

Unless there is another offer I missed, the current deal is this:SolarAxix wrote:It does not seem to work for me. Do we need to do anything special to get one of the free titles? "Buy any three cinematic titles in
- AND
get Cyberstorm OR Haunted Ground OR Maximum Force for free!"
... so it´s "buy three get one free", which is a shame because there are not even three titles in the list of eligibles that I don´t own yet.

Noticed that, too. Maybe they want to avoid angry customers who find out about the APD deal after they purchase on GM.Numanoid wrote:Kind of weird that at GM, it says PSP is out of stock ?

I misread the offer
I guess I knew it was to good to be true
I should probably spend money on glasses, rather than plugs these days

it is not weird they just rant out of ilok serial numbers and needs to order a new package of serials . they can not make those ilok serial numbers themselves , even if it is their own product .mgw38 wrote:Noticed that, too.
