How do I map a MIDI controller to a MUX on/off switch?
I Right click the on/off switch and select Map MIDI Controller, then press a button on my hardware which then shows in the window as Source: 104 - Controller 104.
The Target Module is displayed but no parameters?
Is this not possible to do? How do I automate this?
Seems a bit odd that you can't automate something this basic?

The On/Off switch of plugins/modules is not automatable. The reason is that switching a (VST) plugin off and on again can take considerable time and would not be ok as a realtime action. Compare it with pluggin a TV in and out the socket. It's not something you can 'play' with.

Thank you.
Ok I understand.
So how would you automate such a parameter as this?
Many VST's do afterall have a bypass switch.

If a VST has a bypass switch, then you can check that VST's doc on how to automate it. If the VST can automate it as a parameter MuLab will support it, just like any other automatable parameter. (eg cutoff freq, delay time, bypass switch, ...)

I am using a mux, so I managed a crude workaround using a Audio Balancer Module.
